Bucharest Asian Film Festival kicks off

Bucharest Asian Film Festival – jointly organized by the Embassies of People’s Republic of China, Republic of Indonesia, Islamic Republic of Iran, Republic of Kazakhstan, Republic of Korea, Kingdom of Thailand and Republic of Turkey – is scheduled to take place at Cinemateca Eforie (3, Eforie Str.) from 25 to 29 September 2019.

The event includes an official opening ceremony (access by invitation only) and the screening of 12 films – 2 films  per day during the week days and 3 films per day on Saturday and Sunday. The entrance is free. Romanian subtitling is available.

All the films are selected by the Embassies of the participant countries and aim to promote traditional and contemporary culture of Asian continent as well as to introduce the film industry of each country.
