Consul of Chile in Romania, Rodrigo Guzmán Barros, launches his second poetry book

This Thursday, 5th of March, will take place the official launch of the poetry book “Díptico Poético/ Diptic Poetic” written by the Consul of Chile in Romania, Rodrigo Guzmán Barros, at Noblesse Palace in Bucharest. This is the author´s second poetry book; the first one “Prontuario Poético/ Cazier Poetic” was published in Romania in 2016.

This work, Díptico Poético/Diptic Poetic, as the title implies, is made up of two different books, one entitled “Amor Cosmico/ Iubire Cosmică” and the other “La Manoseada / Femeia Pipăită” and both address the theme of love and energy that moves the world, from a different perspective.

The book confirms again the close relation that Chile has with poetry (the South American country has two Nobel Prize winners for literature – Pablo Neruda and Gabriela Mistral), and is published by Tracus Arte Publishing House in a Spanish Romanian bilingual edition, comprising photos taken by the talented Romanian photographer Dan St. Andrei.

Díptico Poético/Diptic Poetic was presented with great success in the last International Book Fair Gaudeamus held in November 2019, and can be found in the bookstores Cărturești and on the website of the publishing house.
