Romania has registered so far, according to the latest official report, 158 coronavirus confirmed cases, most in Bucharest and Hunedoara County.
According to the Public Health National Institute, there are 40 cases confirmed in Bucharest.
By counties, the situation is as follows: 21 – Hunedoara, 17 – Timis, 10 – Constanta, 8 – Arad, 6 – Brasov, 6 – Iasi, 5 – Caras-Severin, 4 – Cluj, 4 – Covasna, 4 – Ilfov, 3 – Dolj, 2 – Buzau, 2 – Galati, 2 – Mehedinti, 2 – Mures, 2 – Suceava, 2 – Valcea, 2 – Gorj, 2 – Neamt, 2 – Braila, 2 – Olt, 1 – Bacau, 1 – Bihor, 1 – Maramures, 1 – Prahova, 1 – Satu Mare, 1 – Ialomita, 1 – Teleorman, 1 – Vaslui, 1 – Vrancea, 1 – Salaj.
Overall, there are 15,546 persons isolated at home and 3,008 persons in institutionalised quarantine.
Nine persons have been declared cured so far.
