General Mayor Firea asks U.S, Germany, China, Israel and Austria Embassies support for the Bucharest hospitals

General Mayor Gabriela Firea on Friday asked the embassies of the United States of America, Germany, China, Israel and Austria, support for the Bucharest hospitals under the city hall responsibility.

“Today I sent letters asking for support to the embassies of the United States, Germany, China, Israel and Austria so that they, in their turn, send these letters to the mayoralties of the respective capital cities with a view to asking for the necessary support in this period for the 19 hospitals of Bucharest, considering that the capital of Romania counts for the highest number of patients in the two infectious disease hospitals, Victor Babes and Matei Bals, and also counts for the largest number of quarantined persons, over 550, and this figure keeps growing by the day and, moreover, as many as 4,000 persons are self-isolated, which is why it is expected that the number of cases having already tested positive for the coronavirus will increase,” Firea said in a video posted Friday on Facebook.
