The Swiss company announces a turnover of over 21.7 million lei in 2019 for Connect44 Romania, which represents an increase of 83% compared to the previous year. With almost 200 employees, Romania is one of the company’s most important hubs. At the beginning of this year, a new center was opened in the country.

A clear goal for Connect44 Romania in 2020 continues to be expansion. Moreover, in 2019, the company hired more than 80 telecommunication engineers to provide quality customer service to clients from all over the world.

“Romania has a lot of IT & Telecom expert engineers who are well trained and involved in developing important projects for our clients. This year we are focusing on the significant growth of both services and team expansion.” said Alexandru Cociorvei, General Manager of Connect44 Romania. “Also, in the current context of the Covid-19 pandemic, we have adapted to the situation and developed IT infrastructure that will allow our employees to work from home. Thus, over 97% of the employees work remotely, from the safety of their own homes, continually providing the best services to our customers,” he added.

The Romanian team offers engineering solutions for mobile and fixed networks, as well as IT support and service desk services for telecom operators in Europe. Connect44’s mobile network engineering solutions help wireless telecommunications providers and equipment manufacturers design, implement and optimize their networks. Also, the company’s engineers design, operate and optimize the related network systems and services for operators in Europe.

The complex IT support and service desk services comprise five different areas of expertise: from storage and back up, LAN / WAN, operation on Unix / Linux / Windows systems, to virtualization, monitoring and support in foreign languages.
