MAE: Seven persons working with Romanian Embassy in Paris have tested positive for COVID-19

Seven persons working with the Romanian Embassy in Paris have tested positive for COVID-19,  a press release of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) issued  on Monday informs.

The Embassy enacted the measures required in the relation with the authorities in the state of residence, which are protection measures meant for the rest of the staff of the diplomatic mission and their families. The seven persons are in a good health condition, says the same source.

MAE warns that, in this context, the activity of the Romanian Embassy to the French Republic will be reduced, considering the need of the staff to self-isolate.

Thus, the activity of the consular section is temporarily suspended, with only the urgent cases to be processed from now on.
