Failure can be a very creative architect in turning a ruined business or career into an attraction for the public

Fuckup Nights Bucharest Vol. V reveals 4 new stories

The design of an architectural structure needs vision and discipline. We all know how to build a house using paper. One brick is placed next to another, then a new row and so on. We also know that we can’t really put them in pairs and neither where we remember. A brick taken from the foundation can have as harsh consequence as making a decision that brings the end of someone’s career or the end of a business itself. We are architects of our own lives, but sometimes, the plan written on paper is not like what we find on the professional site. So many bricks do not fit properly. Some call this a failure. But even if, at some point, we make a door that is too high or too narrow, we can assemble it and build another one with a better view of the world. We need to build such a “structure”, even if we do not shine as architects. So if a brick is to fall, it is important to think that Rome was not built in a day.

Successful careers are built by having in mind every mistake and professional flaw of the construction plan. This is the instructive story of failure, and if you also twisted a brick, you qualify for the inspirational event Fuckup Nights Bucharest Vol. V, on June 18, held online, live on the ZOOM platform.

Any culture can be masterfully created when there is vision. Fuckup Nights Bucharest proposes the adoption of a professional lifestyle that involves learning through failure. Hard to believe, but sometimes the most painful failures can drive us harder than any small success. Not trying is more discouraging than trying and failing. The living proof is those who understood that a sustainable thing involves many experiments, doubts, disappointments, which, in the end, turned into personal imprints and professional experiences.

How the “architects” invited to this edition designed hundreds of thousands of texts that have materialized into successful blogs, technology in a new IT company or corporate life in sports rally competitions, will tell us online, where they will share with a virtual audience the secrets of this culture, too little explored so far.

The plan of the second digital edition of Fuckup Nights Bucharest, Vol. V will take shape through the contribution of the talented architects: Ioana Frîncu – technology expert, entrepreneur and COO Creative Tim; Cristian China-Birta – blogger and entrepreneur, founder of the digital agency Kooperativa 2.0, trainer and speaker; Alex Filip – corporatist, rally driver with 17 years of experience and double national champion and Cristian Șimonca aka Blogu lu ’Otravă – enthusiastic blogger in fields such as theater, film, sports & more.

“The culture of constructive failure is not something you can learn overnight. Personally, it took me many years to assimilate it and then put it into practice. The key, of course, is communication. And to encourage others to reach their full potential, you often need to take a step back and listen to the stories of others. The guests of this edition have mastered their professional failure, as an inevitable episode from their lives and will show us live how they got over it and what lessons they learned from it “, says Diana Iosu, organizer of Fuckup Nights Bucharest.

Fuckup Nights Bucharest, part of the series of events that take place globally, targets equally small and big entrepreneurs, corporate people, professionals, and students. This rapidly expanding global movement promotes, through the power of the speakers’ example, the constructive conclusions drawn from professional failures.

Fuckup Nights Bucharest Vol V will take place online, on 18th of June, starting at 19:00.

The event’s partners are: Virgin Radio, Groupama, More Networking; Complice, Fonduri Structurale, Kooperativa Fru Fru, IQAds, SMARK și Manager Express.
