Marinela Ardelean – Global Brand Ambassador Vinars Brâncoveanu: „For the 2020 edition of Matei Brâncoveanu Awards Gala we wanted to identify the less known values of Romania and so we have the privilege to do it due to the proposals made by well-known professionals, such as  Victoria Asanache, Marius Constantinescu, Sandra Ecobescu, Tudor Giurgiu and Irina Păcurariu. This year we look for the performance of those that have social impact, of those who, through their actions bring beneficial cultural, social, educational and humanitarian changes. We live times when the projects of these young people need not only encouragement, but also concrete support and this was the reason why the Alexandrion Foundation decided to reshape this project.”

Tudor Baciu – the initiator of the Cinemobilul (Mobile Cinema) project, the most extended film caravan in the country; Carmen Chindriș – the founder of Sus Inima (Heart Up) Association, that provides accommodation and meals to oncological patients going to Sibiu for radiotherapy; Ana Maria Ciobanu – reporter that approaches topics such as social inequality, domestic violence, poverty, discrimination and education at DoR magazine; Edmond Niculușcă – the founder of ARCEN and the initiator of the Antiseismic District project, through which he prepares the inhabitants of a whole district in Bucharest for the next earthquake; and Raluca Selejan – co-founder of the independent bookstore „At Two Owls” from Timișoara, that organizes cultural events, through which it stimulated the appetite of the future generations for reading – these are the five finalists of the Matei Brâncoveanu Gala 2020. The audience can discover their stories and vote for them on the website of the Alexandrion Foundation- www.fundatia-alexandrion.ro.

The five finalists are supported by professionals well know to the public, with broad experience in their activity areas, who nominated the candidates and designated the finalists of the Matei Brâncoveanu Gala 2020: Victoria Asanache, Marius Constantinescu, Sandra Ecobescu, Tudor Giurgiu and Irina Păcurariu.

All the five finalists will be awarded, the Alexandrion Foundation offering four prizes worth 1,500 euro each and the grand prize worth 12,000 euros.
