Prime Minister Ludovic Orban said on Friday that at a videoconference with prefects he sent a message of “concentration, mobilisation, responsibility” to the institutions that are involved “in the battle against the coronavirus epidemic.”
“We held a videoconference with the prefects with all the state institutions that are involved in the battle against the coronavirus epidemic. We gave a message of concentration, mobilisation, responsibility. We asked each institution to be present with all available staff on the front line of the battle, to get organised efficiently; we asked the prefects to make daily operations (…) to fight effectively against the spread of the virus, to penalise all violations of the rules of protection and also to order all measures to face any challenge,” Orban said at the end of a videoconference with prefects and other state officials at the Interior Ministry.
He said he called for more attention to be paid to public transport, including between different areas, as well as transport for employees by some companies.
