TAROM will suspend, until August 15, 2020, included, the operation of commercial flights to Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Moldova, Serbia, Turkey and Lebanon, following travel restrictions imposed by the authorities, the company announced on Tuesday, on its Facebook page.

“Tickets can be rescheduled for future travel dates, with no modification taxes or can be reimbursed. The modifications can be made within 12 months from the date of the ticket being issued,” the TAROM representatives mention.

According to the quoted source, certain categories of flights are excepted, namely freight transports (cargo flights), special intervention flights requested by the authorities, medical flights, flights that transport care personnel or seasonal workers in agriculture, but also repatriation flights (special charters).

The national company operates over 50 own destinations and destinations served by code share partners.
