Telekom Romania launches #FanEdituriRomânești campaign through which it supports local publishing houses, with the purpose to help them adapt more easily to the new reality marked by the COVID-19 pandemic. At the same time, Telekom wants to stimulate the general public’s interest for reading, familiarizing it with new titles and authors from various fields such as psychology, personal development and economics.
Developed in the context of the Telekonomy promise, the #FanEdituriRomânești campaign will run for 12 weeks, between November 12, 2020 – February 4, 2021 and will continue Telekom Romania’s effort to help all Romanians, individuals or entrepreneurs, to cut only the costs and enjoy the same benefits. In this difficult period, Telekom’s mission is to come up with smart solutions for the homes and businesses of Romanians, to support them to overcome difficulties and worries. Thus, in addition to the support offered to publishers, the campaign will be a simple and fast way to save time and money by those interested in discovering or deepening useful information about various fields and to enrich their knowledge by discovering the most important ideas from the most interesting books of the moment, all in a 100% free of charge way.
„This period marked by uncertainties was very difficult for all businesses, regardless of their size, and local companies were forced to find new ways to continue their business. This is also the case of publishing houses, that have had to give up book fairs and switch to online, with special promotions and discounts, in order to mitigate the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic crisis. Through this partnership, Telekom wants to express its support for both publishers and readers who will be able to rediscover the joy of reading and find useful and very interesting information, all in a simple and fast way”, said Ruxandra Vodă, Corporate Communications Director, Telekom Romania.
Through the #FanEdituriRomânești campaign, Telekom Romania will promote on its social media pages 12 titles of the Romanian publishing houses such as Litera, Paralela 45 and Curtea Veche. At the same time, in order to stimulate Romanians’ interest for reading, Telekom will make a series of video executions. Each of these videos will bring information about a book and the publishing house under which it was launched. In addition, to reward those who join the campaign and watch the videos promoting the books, the company will organize an online contest throughout the campaign. Those who answer correctly and meet the conditions for participation have the chance to win books in which they will surely find a series of useful tips for their personal and professional development.
Aiming, among other things, to offer through joint actions a real support in overcoming the challenges faced by the local business environment, the #FanEdituriRomânești campaign joins the series of Telekom Romania initiatives to support Romanian business that was opened through the #FanAfaceriMici campaign.
