Gov’t meeting on Monday to adopt budget revision

Prime Minister Ludovic Orban announced on Friday that the Government will meet on Monday to adopt the budget revision, after the revision bill was discussed, in first reading, this week.

“The first-reading revision ordinance was discussed this week. We proposed holding a Government’s meeting on Monday to adopt the budget revision,” Orban said.

The prime minister, who was accompanied by Transport Minister Lucian Bode, said the latter’s ministry would have the budget supplemented because it “deserved it”.

“What is certain is that the Ministry of Transport not only had a higher allocation than in previous years, but for each revision so far it benefited from the supplementation of the budget to support investments, because it deserved it as it accelerated the works,” the PM said.

Prime Minister Ludovic Orban participated, on Friday, in Suceava, in the reception of the works of the ring road of Radauti municipality. Subsequently, he was present in the locality of Pojorata, where the Romanian Railway Company representatives presented a work train, recently purchased, which is able to restore the entire railway infrastructure.
