Re-consecration ceremony of the “Commemorative Cross of the Romanian Heroes of the First World War”

The Minister of National Defense, Nicolae-Ionel Ciucă participated on Monday in the military and religious ceremony of re-consecration of the Commemorative Cross of the Romanian Heroes from the First World War, on the plateau near Caraiman Peak in the Bucegi Mountains.

The event, organized by the Ministry of National Defense on St. Andrew’s Day, Romania’s protector, was part of the events dedicated to Romania’s National Day.

Also, the activity, which was organized in compliance with measures to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus, was attended by soldiers from all units of mountain troops of the Romanian Army, who carried  their identification flags.
