More than 200,000 restaurants in 16 countries already use DISH digital services that facilitate, among other things, their business processes, ensure their relevance and high visibility in the online environment and provide them with support in evaluating key business objectives and indicators. DISH digital solutions are now available in Romania and mark the start of an extensive process of digital transformation, part of the long-term vision and development strategy of METRO Cash & Carry Romania.

DISH offers two packages that align different digital solutions, developed to meet the need for digital transformation for HoReCa businesses. In Romania, two packages will be available starting January 15th: Starter and Professional.
The “Starter” package addresses customers with an incipient digital presence and offers basic digital services to start building an online business presence, such as creating a quick and intuitive website.
The “Professional” package is an advanced and more complex version of the Starter package and offers a wide range of digital solutions that help HoReCa businesses take advantage of several online presence benefits. This package includes online orders, without any commission to third parties, a service developed based on the increasingly frequent requests received from businesses in the hospitality industry, online reservations that facilitate the planning and organization of reservations. In the same time, the description and automatic translation of the website are valid in 18 languages, thanks to an artificial intelligence module, SMS notifications or visual plan of the tables in the location being also included.
Even if the platform does not require advanced technical knowledge when activating, METRO aims to provide customer support services through a dedicated DISH call center. That is to offer access to the company’s expertise in order to help businesses integrate the digital solutions as easily as possible.
For the Starter Package it is necessary to pay a single activation fee of 299 lei watt not included).
For the Professional Package, a single activation fee of 99 lei (no VAT included) and a monthly subscription of only 99 lei (no VAT included) will be charged.
This launch also comes with a special offer. Until the 31st of January, customers will not pay the activation fee for any of the packages. In addition, customers who activate the Professional Package will benefit from a special offer, namely the free use of the platform for 2 months from the date of activation.
First, the platform will be launched in Bucharest, with plans to expand as quickly as possible, gradually, throughout the country. In the next period, DISH’s service portfolio will continue to grow, and customers will be able to access new innovative solutions for business digitization, from menu planning or website graphics development and construction, to social media communication solutions.
DISH digital solutions are developed by Hospitality Digital, the digital division of METRO AG. All digital solutions have been developed in close collaboration with HoReCa partners in several European countries, which has led to a significant increase in the efficiency of HoReCa’s business and has significantly contributed to increasing the online presence of cafes, bars and restaurants.
