Spring IT is back!

Spring IT is back this spring too, during the 1-20th of March. The project organized by Student Union from the Faculty of Cybernetics, Statistics and Economic Informatics (SiSC) is on its tenth edition, an anniversary one.

SiSC is the oldest student union from the Academy of Economic Studies from Bucharest, whose main goal is to represent the faculty’s students. Annually they have the opportunity to expand their area of knowledge, especially because of the great number of projects that took place within the organization.

Spring IT is a project that offers students the opportunity to meet the employers of well-known companies that specialize in the field of IT and to widen their vision about the labor market. Moreover, they are able to acquire useful information for the beginning of their career.

Because of the current pandemic situation, the project will be organized exclusively online, but it doesn’t stop us from being innovative. Thus, beside the events that took place every edition, this year will be organized two podcasts (on 6th and 20th of March), where we will have as guests a representative of our partner company Infosys  and the 4MAYO community founders, in order to debate  exciting subjects about technology.

The first interactive phase of the project will be Meet the Companies (1-7th of March), whose registrations would take place previous week (22-28th of February). The aim of this stage is to ease the interaction between students and to know more about the employment possibilities offered by our partner companies.

The next stage of the event will be the Webinars (8-12th of March) whose registrations will take place between 1-7th of March. Students will have the possibility to learn, but also strengthen their knowledge in hard skills and soft skills.

Registrations for both events will be exclusively online. Participants should fill in the form posted on the site http://springit.sisc.ro/ and, also upload their CV that will be taken over by the partner companies.                You can find more information about this project on its website or on its Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/spring.it.sisc, where there is always a team member who is ready to answer all of your questions. Stay tuned on Spring IT Facebook page for more surprises!
