John Maxwell comes to Cluj to help Romanian entrepreneurs adapt their business in a pandemic

John Maxwell, one of the most well- known leadership experts in the world, is returning to Romania. The event entitled „Leading From the Heart” will take place at the Multipurpose Hall BT Arena in Cluj, on Saturday 5th June 2021, starting at 9:00.

The main theme of the conference is to help entrepreneurs understand how to effectively lead their staff in a pandemic. Maxwell’s message is different from that of other trainers due to his Christian background.

Thus, the promoted leadership style is orientated around the person and not around the process or system. The idea was introduced in the business environment by Maxwell to make entrepreneurs understand that their role is to develop their teams and to serve their people, not the other way around.

Sorin Popa (photo L) , president of John Maxwell Team Romania (JMT) said: „«Leading from the Heart» means connecting with the team and forming a group of people who feel they are working together for the same goal. John doesn’t come to teach anyone how to run a business. He comes to teach people how to lead themselves, how to develop and thus, how to position themselves in front of those they lead, with a helpful soul and heart.”

In addition to the conference, Maxwell will also have an evening message for participants in the first edition of the HeartBeats concert. World renowned bands such as For King and Country who won the 2020 Grammy award for Best Contemporary Christian Performance/ Song, will be performing.

„We don’t want HeartBeats to be just an annual music festival. We want it to be the first festival that builds on Christian value and social causes. The decision to be more than an isolated event, to help and teach others our principles, convinced Maxwell to join us” said Lucian Mustata, organizer of the two events, entrepreneur in IT and president of the Note About Life Association.

Both the morning conference and the HeartBeats concert are charitable and part of the ticket price will be donated to SOS Children’s Villages, Logos High School, The School For Parents, Kairos Agency and the construction of the first National Children’s Hospital for Cancer, Serious Illness and Trauma.

Mustata added: „ I grew up in SOS Children’s Villages. I owe them a great deal for all their help. With this event, we want to get involved in society and help vulnerable communities by investing in education.”

With the help of John Maxwell Company, John Maxwell Team, Equip and the John Maxwell Leadership Foundation, Maxwell has trained over six million leaders worldwide. His books have also sold more than 33 million copies and have been translated in more than 70 languages.

At the same time, Maxwell has held trainings for Fortune 500 companies, for presidents of several countries and for entrepreneurs from 185 countries.
