The COVID Digital Green Certificate will be operational from July 1, Prime Minister Florin Citu said.
“It will be operational and it will be exactly like in other countries, people will travel with the green certificate, exactly under the conditions that are written there. I had a meeting with the Deputy Secretary General of the Government who deals with these certificates, which is, in fact, an application. And we had an update yesterday, it will be ready next week, so it will be operational on July 1,” Florin Citu told on Thursday a press conference at Victoria Palace of Government, when asked if the European digital certificate will be ready starting July 1.
Gov’t approves OUG regarding healthcare co-pay; quality of medical act in public system not to decrease
The government approved the emergency ordinance (OUG) regarding co-pay in healthcare, said Prime Minister Florin Citu, who added that the quality of the medical act will not decrease in the public system.
“The emergency ordinance regarding co-pay has passed [e.n. – in the Government sitting] today. (…) The quality of the medical act in healthcare cannot drop in the public system, we have a lot of work there and we will increase it through the reforms that we are making together at the Health Ministry,” said Florin Citu, on Thursday, in a press conference at the Victoria Palace.
He was asked what happened with the emergency ordinance draft regarding co-pay and if the form adopted by the Government will lead to a drop in the quality of the medical act in the public healthcare system.
PM announces new relaxation measures: Sports competitions with participation of spectators up to 50 percent of the maximum capacity of the space
The Government approved new relaxation measures in relation to the pandemic, such as the fact that, in open or closed spaces, sports competitions can take place with the participation of spectators up to 50 percent of the maximum capacity of the space, under certain conditions, PM Florin Citu announced on Thursday.
“Today we modified annexes 2 and 3 of the Government decision as regards the extension of the state of alert on Romania’s territory, starting with June 12. This is about new relaxation measures, there are several. I would like to present a few: in open or closed spaces, sports competitions can take place in Romania with the participation of spectators up to 50 percent of the maximum capacity of the space, under certain conditions. A higher number of spectators at shows, concerts, public and private festivals or other cultural events organized outdoors, 2,500 spectators. Of course, over this number, all persons need to be vaccinated. Festivals are allowed to be organized, shows held outdoors, concerts, public and private festivals or other cultural events with the participation of more than 2,500 spectators, by ensuring a surface of one square meter for each person (…), as well as wearing a protective mask,” Florin Citu declared in a press conference at Victoria Palace.
