Developers of AI solutions for fintech, health tech and enterprise tech verticals could launch the next unicorn, according to 100 AI Startups, a report released by Techcelerator and supported by Google for Startups. The report presents the most visible Romanian startups or with Romanian founders who are developing solutions based on AI or have this technology component in core business.

Actually, the fintech, health tech, enterprise tech verticals are best represented in 100 AI Startups. Also, among the verticals that are beginning to adopt AI is the industrial segment, EdTech or CleanTech. A poorly represented area is that of mobility and automotive. Many Fintech, Health Tech and SaaS solutions promise to transform important industries and have great scaling potential.

“Artificial Intelligence has become an important engine for the new digital economy, its net positive impact on the GDP of large economies will exceed 13.5% by 2030 (according to the PWC study). This context and the need for a more complete vision on the scaling of local startups that are developing or using AI have led us to create the map of 100 promising AI startups that are founded in Romania or whose founders are Romanian” states Cristian Dascălu, GapMinder VC partner and co-founder of Techcelerator.

Techcelerator has prepared the 100 AI report together with Google for Startups and with the support of GapMinder VC, Tech Angels, SeedBlink, ROTSA – Romanian Tech Startups Association and Bucharest AI.
