- The moment marks the first opening of a Burger King restaurant outside of Bucharest
- The new opening is part of the company’s long term strategy
After the opening of eight restaurants in Bucharest, in just two years after entering the Romanian market, AmRest, one of the largest European restaurant and food service platforms, will open the first Burger King restaurant in Brașov on the 9th of July. The new location is in Afi Brașov, on Blvd 15 Noiembrie, no. 78, and will be open from Monday to Sunday, during 10:00 – 21:00.
The new opening marks an important moment for the company – the first Burger King restaurant located outside of Bucharest. The new location is part of the long-term strategy of the company and shows that the achievements of the brand are in line with the growth plans that Burger King predicted.
With this occasion, Burger King will reward the brand lovers with a few surprises, including free product vouchers. Therefore, the first 300 lucky Whopper lovers will have the opportunity to get a free Whopper at the opening of Burger King in Afi Brașov.
The new restaurant will have a team of 30 grill kings and offers to its clients a generous dining area and a refill option for drinks. In addition to the already well-known Burger King products, Burger King fans from Brașov will be finally able to taste the new products recently introduced in the menu – Plant Based Whopper & Plant Based Nuggets.
“Today is a big day for us because we turned another objective into reality: from now on, the HOME OF THE WHOPPER is going to be present in the beautiful medieval city of Brașov. This moment marks the first steps of the company to meet its fans outside of Bucharest, being also part of the company’s long-term strategy in Romania. We are extremely excited for this moment, especially because last year was a challenging one for everyone. But with a great team and hard work, we adapted quickly and made all the efforts to continue to provide fast and quality services and constantly working on our expansion plans in the region, as promised”, said Abdalla Hafez, Burger King Brand President.
Burger King has opened eight restaurants in Bucharest, since the entering on the Romanian market in 2019, of which five are located in shopping centers, in key locations of the city. In addition, the company integrated in a record time, during the pandemic, the food delivery service through partnerships with delivery applications and developed the already existing take away service.
As always, the company takes all the safety and hygienic measures in preparing all orders: from containers with disinfectant in all key points of the restaurant, to equipping employees with masks and gloves.
