Tailent, the Romanian tech company known for the development of intelligent software robots and for democratizing access to Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions, strengthens its top management team by bringing in two key executives with extensive international experience, as part of its strategy to accelerate its expansion and boost global presence. Starting September, Laurent Binetti joins as Board Advisor for Strategy and Dragoș Mateescu (photo) becomes Head of Business Development.
With a broad international understanding and expertise in the IT industry, Laurent Binetti will focus on Tailent’s global commercial strategy, with the aim to strengthen the company’s position on the worldwide RPA map and build its international customer base. In the Business Advisor for Strategy role, Laurent Binetti will leverage his vast experience in building and managing major business units, with a focus on channel sales for SME and enterprise customers for Tailent.
Previously, for more than 20 years, Laurent Binetti has been part of Dell’s EMEA top management team, last acting as Vice President and GM Dell channel sales. Laurent successfully expanded the company’s presence into new geographies and developed new products and services. His business acumen was also confirmed in other roles in large enterprises like CEVA Logistics, where he last served as Chief Commercial Officer. As a Senior Executive leader, Laurent has valuable expertise in successfully transforming and developing international organisations and in implementing expansion strategies, which are key for Tailent’s globalization efforts.
“It’s time for the RPA technology to become more affordable. Now, more than ever, the global economy needs reliable and easy to use tools in any business, at a fair price. From Bucharest, Europe’s RPA epicenter, Tailent is ready to step up its strategy to revolutionize the way people work, assisted by affordable intelligent software robots and I am happy to be part of this mission”, says Laurent Binetti, Tailent’s new Business Advisor for Strategy.
In addition, as Tailent’s new Head of Business Development, Dragoș Mateescu will have a major role in the company’s expansion through global partnerships and tech alliances. Dragoș will focus on accelerating Tailent’s global footprint by leveraging his extensive and proven international experience in managing business development and sales strategies, channels and teams in companies like Dell or ICL(Fujitsu Services).
At Dell, Dragoș Mateescu started as Country Manager for the Balkans in 2003. He later moved to other challenging roles such as Country Manager for Turkey, Regional Sales Director for CEE Commercial or Regional Director for Business Development and Integration CEE, with a focus on business consolidation and expansion.
“Tailent’s partner ecosystem is critical to enabling customers to adopt and scale RPA technologies, letting knowledgeable workers focus on innovation and added value activities. Small and medium-sized enterprises all over the world need to accelerate the digitization of the business, and software robots prove to be extremely valuable in increasing operational efficiency. We are just beginning to witness this revolutionary transformation of work”, says Dragoș Mateescu, Tailent’s new Head of Business Development.
RPA is an industry that has accelerated strongly in recent years, and Romania has already become an important global provider of solutions based on this technology. With the new executives strengthening its leadership team, Tailent is ready to increase its role in changing the way people work.
“With Laurent and Dragoș aboard, we are accelerating our plans, helping companies hire robots to do the tedious work of their human colleagues. Employees will benefit from the support of RPA technology to leave boring and repetitive tasks to intelligent software robots and be able to engage in more creative activities that put their skills and expertise to better use”, says Mario Popescu, Tailent’s CEO.
Tailent’s mission is to democratize access to intelligent software robots, especially for SMEs, and to change the paradigm that RPA technology is reserved only for corporations. The company’s solutions are very accessible and businesses can create an unlimited number of robots using Tailent Automation Platform (TAP). Tailent robots can be easily trained for immediate use in any company, regardless of size or industry, and are ready to work alongside existing teams.
