Forbec Services, the first cleaning services company in Romania to accept payment in crypto-currencies

Forbec Services, located in Cluj-Napoca, is a B2B cleaning service company which has been operating for over 12 years, has announced the implementation of crypto-currencies payment facilities to accept payments in various crypto-currencies, such as Bitcoin or Ethereum.

This implementation is in line with the company’s policy to contribute to the digitalization processes of its business operations to simplify and improve its services.

Forbec Services is the first professional cleaning services company in Romania to accept and implement payment in crypto-currencies, offering its customers the choice to pay for their services using fiat currencies or crypto-currencies.

“Cluj-Napoca has become an important IT hub, a Silicon Valley of Eastern Europe, and many of our customers are IT&C companies. As part of our commitment to digitalize our company’s processes to increase performance, we wanted to offer all customers the opportunity to pay for our services by using Bitcoin and other crypto-currencies. We are proud that Cluj-Napoca is becoming centre of excellence in IT&C and wish to contribute to the technological progress, by supporting and promoting new technologies, and to be part of the on-going digitalisation of the Romanian economy”, explains Dana Matei, Commercial Director of Forbec Services.

Forbec Services since last year is under Swiss management, as it is owned by Helvania SA from Lausanne, Switzerland. Since the takeover, the company has accelerated its growth in the market, and is continuously expanding and improving the range of B2B services – cleaning and maintenance, carpet cleaning, industrial cleaning, all to the highest professional standards.

“Since Helvania SA took over Forbec Services, the first step has been to implement the best work processes, as well as to prepare the organization for growth. We have also put focus on rebranding the company, through the launch of a new website accessible at www.forbec.ro as well as a sales robot that allows the transmission of quotations to customers in less than 60 seconds from the request. We continue to digitize various work processes, expand our sales force, and strengthen our operations team. In addition, we are putting emphasis on the continuous professional training of our people, acquiring work equipment, and implementing standards of the highest level, which are essential elements to provide premium professional cleaning and maintenance services”, says Dana Matei.

2021, a year of growth for the B2B cleaning services market in Cluj-Napoca

The challenges posed by the pandemic in business environments has also resulted in additional attention being given to cleaning services, hygienic working conditions, and overall cleanliness, for employees and customers in office spaces, commercial spaces and in production and storage areas. Wherever there are people and products, hygiene is now more important than ever.

Forbec Services mentions that in 2021 it benefited from the increase in the demand for premium professional cleaning and space maintenance services, expanding its client portfolio both in the corporate segment and on the SME side.

The economy has reopened this year, people have returned to the workspaces, and Forbec Services has had the advantage of having professional solutions for high quality, certified cleaning, performed by qualified staff, professionally trained in customer services, and who have a deep knowledge and extensive experience of the industry. The company constantly invests in renewed professional equipment and ECO certified solutions, which respect the environment.
