Social Democratic Party (PSD) leader Marcel Ciolacu on Wednesday stated that Romania is going to have a new government next week.
“Next week, Romania will have a new government. (…) It’s also our duty to do it and there are also the people, who no longer have patience, and I think that this is what we need to do,” Ciolacu said, at the PSD headquarters.
When asked if Florin Citu also agreed with this, Ciolacu replied: “All party chairs representing this coalition agree.”
He mentioned that, most probably on Thursday, a meeting will take place between the representatives of PSD, the National Liberal Party (PNL) and the Democratic Union of Hungarians of Romania (UDMR), to discuss the governing programme, which meeting was supposed to take place on Wednesday, but was canceled.
