Israel’s ambassador Saranga on Romania’s National Day: Dear Romanians, may you have a bright future

Israel’s ambassador in Bucharest David Saranga congratulated today the Romanians on their National Day, wishing them “a bright future” that should reflect their “bright and creative spirit”.

“Dear Romanians, Many happy returns! On your National Day, I wish you good health and prosperity! I wish you a bright future that should reflect your generous and creative spirit. Today marks 103 years since the Greater Union. Today Romania is a democratic, strong and united state, a trustworthy international partner as well as to the State of Israel. We are honored by the extraordinary relationship of friendship between our countries and our common DNA,” ambassador David Saranga said in a video message posted on Facebook.

He mentions that in the last three years he has visited Romanian villages and towns “full of charm and history, with traditions preserved for generations” and that each time he was impressed by the beauty of the places, but particularly by the warmth of the people.

“Although I don’t have Romanian origins, through the connections I have created with you I am happy to say that Romania is my second home, a wonderful country with a welcoming and proud people. Many happy returns, Romania! Many happy returns, dear Romanians!,” is the message of the Israeli ambassador.
