TBI partners with cora Romania to boost the modern shopping experience for consumers – buy now, pay later

TBI Bank, the biggest buy now pay later lender in Romania, continues to spread its finance solution and signs a partnership with cora Romania, one of the largest retailers in the country, to give customers a seamless, personalized and digital shopping experience directly in the store. The partnership with cora is part of TBI Bank’s strategy to be closer to its customers and assist merchants in driving customer acquisition and conversion.

Thus, TBI Bank offers cora customers the opportunity to purchase anything they need, in a simple and fast experience, spreading their payments over time. Specifically, after choosing the products they want to buy, customers can finance their shopping cart by just filling a simple form at TBI’s point of sale. The application is analyzed on the spot, and the approval is granted instantaneously. Customers also have the option to continue the process online if they want to complete the purchase at another time.

”Our customers – merchants and consumers, are the center of everything we do, and a forward-thinking approach is crucial when it comes to ensuring personalized, digital and engaging shopping experience for them. We always strive to deliver to our partners a better service and meet the ever-changing requirements in the market and the Romanians’ dynamic shopping habits. Through the partnership with cora, we are there for customers who want to make purchases now and pay later in installments of their choice”, said Ionuț Sabadac, VP Merchant Solutions at TBI Bank.

„The partnership with TBI Bank allows us to help customers quickly access convenient payment options suitable to their needs, in a process that only requires filling out a form directly in our stores. Thus, we want to offer our customers easy-to-use solutions to purchase the products they need even when they do not have the necessary budget. The service is ideal for those who want to modernize their home by buying pieces of furniture or appliances, but also for young people who want an upgrade of the IT solutions they have, such as a laptop or a state-of-the-art smartphone”, said Marilena Cȋrsteanu, Marketing Omnichannel Manager at cora România.
