Filip & Company assists Țiriac Group in the sale of their operational leasing to Autonom

Filip & Company assists Țiriac Group in the sale of Țiriac Operating Lease (Premium Leasing SRL) to Autonom Services SA. The transaction signed on Tuesday, 25 January, is still subject to certain terms and conditions as well to a clearance from the Romanian Competition Council.

“The beginning of this year remains buoyant in terms of the M&A market and, observing closely the strong expressions of trust and consistency coming from the business environment, we can only wish that they are replicated in other aspects of our reality. There is a time for transferring and reinvesting value and a time for acquiring and consolidating it, and there is clarity in taking and implementing decisions. This is how we can summarize the story of this transaction between Tiriac Group and Autonom Group. We value the opportunity, and we are very pleased to assist Țiriac Group again, this time in the preparation and completion of this transactional process”, said Cristina Filip, managing partner at Filip & Company.

The Filip & Company team coordinated by Cristina Filip included Andrei Konya, George Trantea, Georgeta Gavriloiu, Diana Gavra, Larisa Jurca, Lavinia Cazacu, Rareș Crîșmaru, Andreea Dinu, Andreea Călin and Andreea Panțîru.

Autonom Group was assisted on this project by Taxhouse and RTPR.

The lawyers at Filip & Company have had important roles in many of the key M&A transactions in Romania. Whether they were privatisations, private equity, venture capital or growth capital transactions or other complex M&A, in most of the cases, at least one of the parties was legally assisted by Filip & Company. Furthermore, the lawyers at Filip & Company are ranked first in the most prestigious international legal directories – Chambers and Partners and Legal 500 – with their M&A practice, both as a team as well as individually.
