ING Romania chooses iProspect as its media agency

  • ING Romania has selected iProspect, part of dentsu Romania marketing communication group, to manage its media planning and buying
  • The decision is the result of an agency pitch made following a global review of ING partner agencies in every market where the financial group operates
  • ING and iProspect are already developing together the first marketing communication campaigns for ING Romania.

ING Bank in Romania consolidates its media buying to marketing communications agency group dentsu Romania’s media agency iProspect.

Following a competitive pitch, ING will now work with iProspect in Romania. The dentsu agency will manage ING’s investment in media, as well as providing the group with expert capabilities in media strategy.

The announcement follows an international agency review by ING, with market-by-market decisions on finding the agency partners it will it work with in each market.

„The team’s digital and data-driven strategic vision and capabilities, its drive for innovation and creativity, and the immediate chemistry with the people were the core reasons for choosing iProspect”, said Wenka Booij (photo), Marketing, Corporate Communication and Sustainability Director Ad-Interim, ING Romania.

„ING Romania is on a path of strong growth and looks forward to working with the iProspect specialists to further strengthen our brand, leveraging our global fundament and strategy in combination with the strong local foothold in Romania. We are extremely proud of the trust ING is investing in our strong operations at dentsu and iProspect Romania”, said Maria Grachnova, dentsu Romania CEO. „Throughout the process, we have been very impressed by ING’s exceptional customer focus, stellar service solutions, and strong vision.

As an end-to-end media agency, our passionate team looks forward to working with ING as they are the most innovative, client-first, and data-driven brand in Romania.”

The iProspect agency, with a history of more than 20 years in performance on markets spanning the globe, re-launched itself in March 2021 as a new, future-focused, end-to-end global media agency.

ING is the fourth largest bank in Romania and one of the largest in the world by volume of managed investment.

The joint work on new ING campaigns in Romania has already started, a press release issued by iProspect informs.
