“The engineering profession has continuously transformed and adapted to the new demands of society, but the role of an engineer, a person who has to make life more comfortable, has remained the same: to generate progress. Engineering in general is one of the engines of change, fuelled by the vision and technology of those who have chosen it as a profession, and transport engineering is one of the most important drivers of development in our society,” said Mr. Mihnea COSTOIU, Rector of the Polytechnic University of Bucharest.
After more than 2 years in which we have all been working mainly online, away from offices, classrooms, and laboratories, far from each other, the Faculty of Transport of the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest announces the organization in physical format, from 20 to 22 May 2022, of a car festival based on the above-mentioned beliefs: POLIAUTOFEST.
The event will have at its core the Automobile – the automotive industry with all its components. Manufacturers, importers and distributors, suppliers and producers of components and equipment, mobility providers, institutions and authorities from both education and regulatory fields will join the event as guests, participants, and exhibitors.
During the 3-day festival, industry trends, car makes and models, mobility and logistics solutions, equipment and processes, and automotive perspectives will be presented. The festival will also include debates, academic lectures and presentations of companies, solutions, and products.
The venue has more than ten thousand square metres of indoor and outdoor space, which will allow participants to showcase their technologies in the most attractive way for all visitors.
The festival is aimed at the general public, professionals, students and the country’s future engineers.
