Founded in 1892, the International Institution SEK Bucharest International School offers its students a program of trilingual studies and academic excellence that begins in the early education of children and can continue into doctoral programs at SEK universities. All 26 SEK schools are officially recognized in the 17 countries in which they operate, have modern educational infrastructure and first-class teaching teams.

The rented space in Sema Parc is in one of the existing buildings, completely modernized and authorized, with direct access to Splaiul Independenței and has an interior area of 2,553 square meters, arranged on two levels, as well as another 4,162 square meters of courtyard. interior, with green spaces and possibilities of arrangement in accordance with the requirements and needs of an educational unit. The building, which is located a few minutes from the Opera Română and the Parliament Palace and which has access to public transport, allows not only the organization of the current educational flow, but also the subsequent extension, from kindergarten and primary school to middle school and high school.

SEK Bucharest International School kindergarten and primary school open their doors in September 2022, and registrations started on May 3. Interested parents can schedule a meeting with the school management by accessing https://sekbucuresti.ro/admissions/admission-criteria/ or at the email address admission@sekbucuresti.ro. Places are limited, with priority for those who work or will live in Sema Parc.

As educators, our main mission is to bring inspiration, knowledge and innovation to each of our students, to train them to reach their potential through academic activity. Through dynamic programs, we strive to develop individuals with strong collaborative, communicative, moral, and creative qualities, with a passion for lifelong learning. Because the place where we will carry out our educational activity is essential to be in accordance with our values, we chose to open our school in Sema Parc, in a building that has at first sight the air of a traditional school. We will open our doors in September with kindergarten and primary school programs, and as our students grow, we will expand our academic offer to middle and high school education.”- says Alina Pele, Director of SEK Bucharest International School.

A school in Sema Parc is what we looked for from the first moment we announced our intentions to develop this project. The fact that Sema Parc has been the chosen place by SEK Bucharest International School – an international school with a strong tradition, is a confirmation for the extraordinary potential of this place to grow and develop a community in the true sense of the word. We are excited to have such an important function, such as education, for the Sema Parc community. We are convinced that the benefit will be substantial for the entire city. ” – said Ioana Mușat, Lease Manager at River Development.

Finding a suitable building in the central area of Bucharest for a private school, which focuses on both education and green space and freedom of movement, was a challenge for our colleague Bogdan Caraman, who attended SEK Bucharest International School in choosing their first location in Romania. Together with the River Development team, the developer of the Sema Parc project, we found the most suitable solution. We believe that this way the central-western area of Bucharest will benefit from this year from a valuable educational alternative, both for those working in the second pole of large office spaces in Bucharest, and for the inhabitants of sectors 5 and 6, some one of the most populated sectors of the capital. ” – added Alexandru Petrescu, Managing Partner at ESOP Consulting | CORFAC International
