Wop, wop, wop! Golin wins three awards at the SABRE Awards EMEA 2022 and is a finalist in the CEE Department of the Consultant of the Year

Food service, retailers or NGOs, say no more! Golin Romania stood out this year at the SABRE Awards EMEA 2022, the most prestigious international PR festival that awards excellence in Branding, Reputațion  and Engagement. With a total of 5 campaigns registered in 5 categories of the competition, Golin was present on the short list of finalists with a quarter of the campaigns nominated in Romania. Moreover, Golin is the only agency in Romania that is a finalist in the section of Consultant of the Year for the CEE region.

Thus, Golin wins 3 important awards that recognize the merits of extremely valuable campaigns, through creative concept and execution, and through impact: AltKFC, for KFC, in the Food Service category, Live of NIGHTmare for Habitat for Humanity, in The Balkans category and The Financial Escape Room, made for Fairo, in the Best Use of Gamification/User-Generated Contests category, at the IN2SABRE Awards.

 AltKFC is a campaign of KFC Romania that has courageously aimed to combat all the myths about the brand that appeared on the internet, by making the first branded mockumentary in Romania – a series of 4 episodes through which the main character Alin Puiu (former intern at KFC) tries to create an alternative restaurant – AltKFC, the place where the customer is always right. A creative exercise of good practice at the creative concept level, event, firsts in the influencers work and social media done right.

Casa Niță, an 11 sqm hut, made of precarious materials and vulnerable to the weather, was located in the center of Bucharest for two weeks, in order to symbolically recreate the DRAMAtic experience of the 34% of Romanians that are living at the poverty line in Romania.  Launching event, influencers & press, actors, unique activations or how to carry out an awareness campaign in the most creative way to support donations to NGOs.

 Fairo is an all-in-one mobile financial app that helps freelancers simplify their financial management and administrative tasks.  Golin launched the application through an online escape room, where all freelancers who wanted to escape from a world where the Excel docs and administrative activities kept them captive and regain their free time were invited. The escape room was a perfect example of what you could do much more easily if you would have Fairo by your side.

The winners of the SABRE Awards EMEA were announced on May 27 at the gala in London.
