Royal Savarsin domain, open to visitors weekly, from Friday to Sunday

The Royal Savarsin domain is open to visitors, weekly, from Friday to Sunday, informs the Royal House, in a post on Facebook.

The Royal Village, the Tea House, the Automobile Museum, King Mihai’s Car Workshop and the Souvenir Shop can be visited every week, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, from 09:00hrs to 18:00hrs.

The Royal Park can only be visited with prior registration.

“Please check the day and time of your scheduled visit to the park by phone or e-mail to avoid the disappointment of not being able to enter the park upon arrival. The park is visited in groups, every hour, in the presence of a guide, and the number of visitors in a group is limited. Please also follow the official website of the Royal Savarsin every month. The visiting schedule may change from one month to the next” .

According to https://savarsinregal.ro/, the buildings in the Royal Village are eight in number: the Royal Automobile Museum, located in the restored building of the royal garage, King Mihai’s Car Workshop, from the same building where it was in the 1940s, the Laundry and Ironing facilities, also in the 1940 building where they used to be, the Guest House, the Tea House, the Quartermaster’s House (the same as in the 1940’s), the Technical House, and the Souvenir Shop.

Apart from the Tea House, the other buildings were restored, with own means, with local materials and craftsmen, from 2011 to 2017. Their construction probably dates back to the early 1900s, but it is conceivable that they are several decades older.
