2Performant (BVB: 2P), a technology company and leader in the Romanian affiliate marketing market, announces 12,281 unique users registered within its platform in second quarter of 2022, an increase of 61% compared to the same period last year.
More than 12,000 users sent 18.6 million clicks to the online stores in 2Performant, which resulted in a total of 393,000 online sales, with total value of 21.6 million euros, excluding VAT, an appreciation of 49% compared to Q2 2021. This generated commissions of 1.35 million euros, up 44% compared to the second quarter of 2021.

In the first six months, we have already exceeded 42 million euros in sales generated for our customers, which makes us confident that throughout 2022 we can exceed for the first time the threshold of 100 million euros on this important indicator. Consequently, we foresee that affiliate marketing services will play an increasingly important role in the e-commerce process, which will improve and streamline the promotion of online retailers. On top of the results, the level of transparency we offer in this relationship between the affiliates and the advertisers is unmatched. We continue to launch initiatives and competitions bringing added value to the whole ecosystem. These innovations are directly seen in the key indicators we report today and they will also later be reflected in the results for H1 2022, which we will report at the end of August,” said Dorin Boerescu, Chairman of the Board and CEO of 2Performant.
In the second quarter of 2022, the average value of sales (excluding VAT) through the 2Performant platform was 55 euros, an increase of 9% compared to Q2 2021, and the conversion rate was 2.1%, an appreciation of 5% compared to the same period last year. Also, the average gain of affiliates per 100 clicks was 7.24 euros, a positive change of 12% compared to the previous year, while the yield of affiliate marketing budgets for each euro invested was 16, registering an increase compared to the second quarter of 2021.
The main product categories sold in the second quarter of 2022 were: Fashion, followed by Books, Movies & Music, Pharmaceuticals, Beauty, IT&C Electronics, Toys & Baby Products, Home & Garden, Sports & Outdoors, Health & Personal Care, and Pet Products. During the analyzed period, the first ten clients of 2Performant, according to the value of the commissions, were: Elefant, Answear, DY Fashion, FashionDays, Somproduct, Nichiduță, ePantofi, NeaKaisa, Cărturești and StarShinerS.
The results generated by 2Performant users are updated daily on the company’s website, where trends in online shopping behavior are displayed both at the network level and broken down by major industries. The company intends to continue to publish such aggregate data at the end of each quarter so that shareholders and investors have a comprehensive understanding of the functionality of 2Performant’s business indicators over a year of operation.
2Perfomant listed on the AeRO market on December 9, 2020, and from October 2021, the 2P shares are included in the BET-AeRO index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange. In 2021, the company recorded a turnover of 25.7 million lei, an increase of 27% compared to 2020. For 2022, 2Performant aims for a turnover of 34.9 million lei, an increase of 35% compared with 2021.
