ANRE, Energy Ministry send PM energy market reports

The National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) and the Energy Ministry sent on Monday the reports requested by Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca regarding the energy market, and will next submit proposals to shield the population and the business environment against energy and gas price increases, the government informed.

“In accordance with the decisions taken at the meeting of the Interministerial Committee on energy resilience and the implementation of energy infrastructure projects, ANRE informed about the situation on the energy market, and the Energy Ministry presented the short-, medium- and long-term investment strategies for the electricity and gas production capacities. In the following period, ANRE and the Energy Ministry will hold consultations with the producers, distributors, suppliers and the other actors in the energy market, and will next submit to the government proposals that meet the current budget requirements, for the population and the private environment to be sheltered from the effects of the energy and gas price increases,” the information shows.
