Korean Embassy in Romania hosts 2022 National Foundation Day Reception

The National Foundation Day Reception of the Republic of Korea will be hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Romania at 6:00 PM, on October 5 (Wednesday), 2022 at Diplomatic Club (Șoseaua București – Ploiești nr.2B), Bucharest.

The official ceremony will start with the welcoming remarks of H.E. Kap-soo Rim, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea and a congratulatory address by the guest of honour, Ion-Marcel Ciolacu, President of the Chamber of Deputies. It will be followed by ‘The Melodies of Korea’ solo by a Romanian violinist and ‘The Harmony of Korean and Romanian Traditional Instruments’ performed by young Korean musicians.

On the side lines of the reception, promotion of World EXPO 2030 Busan under the theme ‘Transforming Our World, Navigating Toward a Better Future’, booths for Korean companies of high-tech industry (Samsung and LG), and a photo exhibition of Korean tourism will also be held.

The Embassy continues to strive to take economic cooperation to whole new heights in line with our Strategic Partnership and broaden the horizon of mutual understanding between our two peoples and cultures”, says Ambassador Kap-soo Rim.
