DefMin Dincu pays official visit to Georgia

The Minister of National Defense, Vasile Dincu, is paying an official visit to Tbilisi, the Republic of Georgia, on Monday and Tuesday, at the invitation of his counterpart, Juansher Burchuladze, the Defense Ministry informed.

According to the ministry, the discussion agenda includes issues regarding the security situation in the Black Sea region in the context of the aggression war launched by the Russian Federation in Ukraine, the state of bilateral cooperation relations in the military field, in the regional context and of the international bodies to which the two countries belong.

Minister Vasile Dincu will also be received by the Georgian Prime Minister, Irakli Garibashvili, and will participate in a wreath-laying ceremony at the Memorial of Georgian soldiers who fell in the fighting in Abkhazia in 1993.
