Patria de Oriunde, the digital platform of Patria Bank, which offers individuals the possibility to access the bank’s financial services and products 100% digital, without having to visit the bank’s territorial units, is celebrating one year since its launch on the Romanian market.
The most popular financial products available within Patria de Oriunde are deposits in RON and euro. Thus, in the last 12 months, two out of three new customers who opened a term deposit chose Patria de Oriunde. The platform has become the main channel used to create deposits, in a short time. In addition, customers have also chosen other financial services and products, such as current account packages, cards, and Internet & Mobile Banking.
The Patria de Oriunde platform, accessible to any Internet user who wants to access a financial product from anywhere, has gained substantial popularity since its launch. Thus, in the first year, users took advantage of the benefits of the platform and became customers of the bank. Around 70% of them requested a deposit and 62% of them also opted for one of the current account packages available in the bank’s offer.
„Patria de Oriunde platform is another proof that in Patria Bank we are speeding up the digitization of our products, a process initiated several years ago, as part of our long-term strategy. We have created Patria de Oriunde to be able to reach our customers proactively and in the shortest possible time, no matter where they are, saving them of trips to our territorial units. Their feedback is in line with our expectations, so after the first year of operation, the platform has become very popular among customers who want quick and convenient banking solutions. It is also the favourite channel for customers looking to open deposits. Going forward, we will develop new digital functionalities and they will be available to our customers.”, said Burak Yildiran, CEO Patria Bank.
In recent years, Patria Bank has been constantly investing in the development of its digital channels, to be closer to its customers and to offer access to 100% digital financial products. Currently, more than half of the users of the Patria de Oriunde platform are from urban areas, 44% have a net income of at least RON 4,500, and about two-thirds are aged between 30-55. Moreover, four out of five customers said they want to save money by signing up to the platform.
Patria Bank will continue to digitize its banking products in the coming period. Thus, the bank will launch on the market a new unsecured consumer credit distribution channel for individuals (new customers), 100% online through the platform Patria de Oriunde. Also, the bank plans to expand its range of savings products by including the Savings Account in the platform, a product already available in Patria Bank’s territorial units.
